In addition to the popular free-motion bobbin holder for auto-thread cutting models, a new low-tension bobbin holder is now also available for top loading models not equipped with an auto-thread cutter.
Pre -set with lower tension, this new bobbin holder has the same structure as your original one but with the tension pre-set approximately 10% lower.
Used in conjunction with Janome's new design free motion feet, this lower bobbin tension will produce neater stitching on the underside of your quilts.
The lower bobbin tension also gives you more tension control for improved results with such speciality applications as hand-look quilting stitches.
Couple the Freemotion Quilting Foot with this handy bobbin holder preset with lower tension to make it even easier to achieve even tension control.
Try it and you will see how it is more effective than upper thread tension adjustment alone. Marked with blue to differentiate from standard bobbin holder.
